The Collections Manager at Farmers Bank leads the people and the processes of the Collections Department to minimize account delinquencies and to recover monies due the bank in a timely, professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Coordinates the collection activities for all delinquent accounts;
• Leads and supervises the work of the Collections team by delegating, evaluating and coaching to successfully accomplish the goals and responsibilities of the department;
• Manages the process for foreclosure and repossession of collateral; inventories, analyzes and liquidates collateral and secured assets to minimize loss to the bank;
• Oversees repossessed and foreclosed properties for proper management and regular inspections, as well as tax and insurance payments;
• Develops, maintains, and presents reports and correspondence relative to collections, status of accounts and payment records; and
• Monitors and ensures department compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
• 3-5 years of relevant Collections experience;
• Superior knowledge of the principles and techniques of collection work and the legal requirements for the collection of delinquent accounts;
• Working knowledge of lending processes, procedures, and workflows; and
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite.
